Drummer Alex Aspinall, bassist Eric Vogler, and guitarist Cody Anderson comprise the Cody Anderson Trio, a Bay Area based instrumental group playing groove based music influenced by a broad range of styles. We build on the classic trio format by layering in sound altering effects and samples that enhance the underlying drums/bass/guitar vibes. From classic funk and soul jams to original compositions and “under cover” covers of popular music, the Trio seeks to find fun in the music and share that feeling with listeners.

Each of us has played music in the Bay Area for years in a variety of groups and shared stages with musicians we admire. The Trio offers us a place to relax, explore, have fun, and discover new sounds and grooves while connecting with beer sippers, wine drinkers, tea steepers, and whoever happens to be listening.
